From: Phase-variable restriction/modification systems are required for Helicobacter pylori colonization
H. pylori and isogenic mutants were used to inoculate five eight-week old C57BL/6J mice. 2 weeks after challenge colonisation levels in stomachs were measured based on colony forming unit (CFU). Data is presented as a scatter plot with each point representing the CFU count of one mouse stomach, and the solid line the geometric mean for each group.
