Clostridium butyricum up-regulates Tbet and Foxp3 mRNA expression. The mRNA expression of Th specific transcription factors was measured by quantitative real-time PCR. Male BALB/c mice were given NS or sensitized/challenged with BLG ± treatment with C. butyricum. Con, n = 10 for the control group; FA, n = 10 for the food allergy group; Pre, n = 10 for the preventive group; and Tre, n = 10 for the treated group.
