Serum MMP9 level reduced in AM1/SS1 coinfected mice. Different groups of mice were orally fed with either SS1 or AM1 strains alone or coinfected with both strains of H. pylori (SS1 followed by AM1, AM1 followed by SS1). Control mice were fed with PBS and kept separately under the same conditions. Activity of MMP9 in mice serum was assayed by gelatin zymography (a).
