Upregulation of bacterial transmigration by H. pylori expressing two htrA genes. a Caco-2 and MKN-28 cells were cultured in a transwell filter system for 14 days to reach polarized monolayers, followed by apical infection with IPTG-induced or control Hp wt or Hp htrA ²⁶⁶⁹⁵, respectively.
