The effect of C. butyricum on cytokines and immunoglobulin. Levels of serum IL-4 (a), IL-5 (b), IL-13 (c), IL-17 (d), INF-γ (e), IL-10 (f), TGF-β1 (g) and the total IgE (h) were measured by ELISA Kits. Male BALB/c mice were given NS or sensitized/challenged with BLG ± treatment with C. butyricum. Con, n = 10 for the control group; FA, n = 10 for the food allergy group; Pre, n = 10 for the preventive group; and Tre, n = 10 for the treated group.
