Degree of luminescence intensity generated by the oxidative burst response of neutrophils from healthy adult donors towards C. concisus isolate 2010 – 1718 opsonised with heat-treated pooled serum, in ratios ranging from 1:0.75 to 1:500 (neutrophils to bacteria). Neutrophil concentration was held constant at 2×106 cells/ml as the bacterial concentration was increased. Results are presented as mean values and ranges of 4 experiments performed in duplicates.
